Η Our wooden semolina writing tray is the perfect learning resource to develop early mark making and letter formation. Using semolina is a tactile and sensory way to help your child become confident with forming letters and numbers. They can use their finger or the writing stick to make marks in the semolina which can be easily wiped away. This encourages them to practice and not worry about making mistakes.

There are so many opportunities for learning with our semolina tray. It can be used for forming numbers or shapes and great for practising pre-writing lines. The slot at the top of the tray fits A6 flashcards perfectly and can be used with our alphabet and number flashcards which can be found in our learning resource section. The board has been made long enough that children can begin to write simple cvc words as demonstrated in the photos.
Dimensions:
Our semolina tray is 30cm long and 14cm wide. It is made from beech wood and is sanded smooth to touch.
It comes with a small bag of semolina and a wooden tracing stick.
Our semolina tray and the play sand are both CE tested.
